Feb 23 & 24 - MEDICAL CONFERENCE, GUADALAJARA, MEXICO - Dr. David Wang will be attending and speaking at the XIV Congreso Internacional de Avances en Medicina de los Hospitales Civiles de Guadalajara. With over 5000 physicians in attendence, this is one of Mexico's largest annual medical conferences. Dr. Wang will be presenting on prolotherapy and platelet rich plasma therapy.

Sat, March 3-10 - 44th Annual Hackett Hemwall Foundation Prolotherapy Mission Trip to Honduras - Dr. Gary Kaplan will participate in a medical mission to Honduras, where he will work side by side with many of the best prolotherapy physicians in the world. Dr. Kaplan is attending this mission to keep his skills in regenerative injection treatments for tendon, ligament and joint dysfunction at their best. This trip was organized by the Hackett Hemwall Foundation of the University of Wisconsin Medical School and is the premier prolotherapy training and service mission in the world.

Friday, October 28 - 30th - 2011 International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) Annual Scientific Conference - Gary Kaplan, DO will be attending ILADS conference in Toronto. The Annual ILADS Professional Conference is designed to foster collaboration and dialogue between Lyme disease researchers and those who care and advocate for Lyme disease patients in a variety of settings. The conference will provide updates in clinical knowledge and treatment techniques. Dr. Lisa Lilienfield, MD is participating in a class offered by The State University of New York (SUNY). The class, “Incorporating Bioidenticals in the Medical Practice: Women's Health”, focuses on how to approach the use of bioidentical hormones in your practice, in relation to aging, prevention, and overall health and wellness for women. The topics addressed include introducing hormones, symptoms of hormone imbalances, treatments and applications. Dr. Gary Kaplan completed the training for and was certified by The Board of the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM) in heavy-metal chelation. In response to growing numbers of patients presenting with heavy metal toxicity many patients are becoming interested and self-educated in non-conventional treatment options that will prevent, augment or replace their current pharmacologic regimens. These patients want to work with a physician that is able to identify their risk for heart disease, recommend preventative nutritional suggestions and feel comfortable implementing a treatment strategy that is effective and safe. ACAM's course provided: practical strategies for incorporating Chelation Therapy for heart disease into your practice; how to diagnose and treat patients with heavy metal burden; tools to evaluate risk factors for developing disease states and signs and symptoms of chronic illness; and how to use diet and nutrients to optimize toxic metal chelation strategies and protocols.

Wednesday, April 27 - David Wang, DO presents on "Prolotherapy and Platelet Rich Plasma Injection Therapy" at the annual conference of The American Academy of Osteopaedic Medicine in Las Vegas, Nevada. The purpose of the group is to provide a forum for individuals suffering with chronic pain and illness to share their struggles and strategies for staying as healthy and hopeful as possible.
